About the event

Those of us in the helping and companioning professions, such as ministers, therapists, and spiritual directors, are tending to an extraordinary collective grief in the midst of the world pandemic of Covid-19. It is not good to bear witness alone. This mini-retreat will provide a space to explore our collective grief, safely express what we are holding in our bodies, and support one another in our work as we serve our communities.

Expressive arts are modalities of the imagination that help us tap into deeper wisdom. We will use movement, writing, visual art, and ritual in our time together. You will need access to a printer, paper and pen, and simple art supplies, such as markers or colored pencils or oil pastels. No art experience is necessary, only an open heart and a desire to explore.
