Stepping Into Image:
Art Journaling as a Contemplative Practice
Wednesdays 7:00-8:30 pm CST
November 2, 9, 16, 30, 2022
Art journaling is a practice that uses color and visual images and sometimes words to reflect on our experience and pay attention to God’s presence in our life. The art journal can be a place to encounter our true self and the God in whose image we are made. We will explore various ways to keep an art journal as a contemplative practice. No previous art experience or skill is necessary; curiosity and a playful spirit are helpful! A suggested supply list will be sent prior to the retreat. Hosted by Sophia Center at Mount St. Scholastica. For more information or to register, visit their website here.

I am so excited to be leading this retreat with Susan Barber, OSB of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS.
